Christmas Session...Ashley and Cody

Although it was chillier than we had planned on, the weather still cooperated and it made my job so easy to photograph such a great looking couple. The dogs were super playful and we even got Cody to crack a few smiles :-) Enjoy your preview, I will have your gallery to you in a few days.

Introducing ... Baby S

Meet Baby S, she is just a few weeks old. She is absolutely perfect and so beautiful. She didn't make a peep our entire session and was so alert and sweet, she just wanted to watch her mommy and daddy. She was sleepy as soon as the camera was flashing away, but we were able to get tons and tons of beautiful shots. One of the reasons I love my job is because I can capture the moments before they are lost because the babies grow too quickly. I could have stayed and captured this little cutie moment by moment, day by day. Just scanning through, there are so many beautiful shots of this sweetie, there is no way to pick a few favorites... so I just picked a few.
Rose and Donnie, I am so excited to share a little preview with you... her gallery will be up in a few days, I can't wait for you to see the rest.

Hope for the Warriors... NYC Day 3

So after a few days of internet craziness, I am finally back with a Day 3 preview. We had a great time on a fireboat tour (even with all of the rain) that led us out to the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and a beautiful city skyline. Next we headed to Engine 80 Ladder 23 Vinegar Hill Firehouse in Harlem, and they made a great lunch for our group. We received a firehouse tour and some of the guys were treated to a ride in the bucket.
We completed the day with a pre race dinner at Blue Moon. Great food and great sponsors were all around to celebrate the First Annual Long Island 5k and 1 miler. Thank you so much to the people that made Day 3 so fantastic! Preview of Day 4 should be up in the next couple of days.

Hope for the Warriors... NYC Day 2

Day 2 NYC was amazing! We had a "lights and sirens" day with the NYPD. Our day began at One Police Plaza for a Tribute to the Marine Corps Birthday for all of the former, retired and reserve Marines on the NYPD. It was an amazing celebration. Then we were treated to a fantastic Italian lunch in Brooklyn at LaLocanda... simply amazing. Next, we were whisked off for a tour of the Police Museum, complete with a cell for prime photo ops. We had the honor of visiting the National September 11th Memorial Museum at the World Trade Center to pay tribute to all that gave their lives in the terrorist attacks, and a sacred look inside Ground Zero and the construction of the Freedom Tower and a quick visit to the "Ten House"- FDNY.
Next, dinner with Chief Esposito and some of his finest NYPD officers. And finally, a late night tour of the Empire State Building. It was a busy day, but one that will not soon be forgotten. Thank you to all that gave selflessly of their time to ensure that our group had a fantastic day.

Hope for the Warriors..NYC Day 1

I was given the most amazing opportunity by the Hope for the Warriors Organization to come to NYC for 4 days to chronicle their trip and First Annual Long Island Run Event. I knew I would have a fabulous time, but I never expected to meet so many amazing people, listen to their stories and have them touch my life. The military members that have made supreme sacrifices, the family members that are there for every high and low and a community of selfless and influential people that want to make a difference, were some of the most amazing people I could have dreamed of meeting.
Thank you to the Hope for the Warriors Organization Staff that challenge the community and make a heart felt difference in the lives of so many. You are amazing! Here is a little preview of Day 1.
