My son has the world biggest crush on Krystal. It started months ago when he would watch her from a far. She is affectionately known in my house as Tank's "Hott Chick". She is absolutely beautiful and her spirit mirrors her looks. Fun, sweet and helloo... did you see the boots?? Fantastic sense of style. He will be heartbroken when she moves away to start her new adventures and business in Florida.

Krystal may be one of the most talented makeup artists I have ever met. She said she would do Kristen's makeup for me today and I suggested we do some promo shots for her and make it a girls morning. She absolutely blew me away with gorgeous self!

Posh Couture: Kristen... Anytime Session [part 2 of 5]

I had some ideas for expanding my business to include more Glam and Couture, but a little scared to take the leap and do the things that I love and incorporate them with my passion and business. I blogged about needing a few models and Kristen emailed. She told me that she doesn't do nudity or swimsuits [good thing.. me either], but she was game for whatever I wanted to do.

So I was all, "Furreal?" and she was all, "uh yeah.. I watch America's Next Top Model and I can do this." Oh Kristen, if they have a MILF cycle.. I am sooooo submitting your picture and bio because you are smokin! Thanks for all of the laughs and your best ANTM poses. I pondered if you might kill me if I actually posted any of those and stay away from the scary Silence of the Lambs house... that was frightening!! oxox

Posh Couture: Part 1 of 5...Making the Model

Today I had the chance to spend the afternoon with 2 friends. I needed some promo shots for some upcoming things [contest..hint hint] so I invited my friend Kristen to come be my victim...errr, model for the day. Hello... she is gorgeous, and totally worked the camera for me! More to come of her in the next post.

My friend Krystal is a makeup artist and absolutely fabulous!! So she came along to make Kristen look amazing and to get some promo shots for the launch of her new business. Omgooooshhh I was gushing all over her and begged and pleaded for her not to move, but that I would go broke employing her every morning to make me look as fabulous as she did Kristen.

Posh Personal: Thunder Dogs Rock!

"Thunder Dogs, Ooohrahhh".

The chants of the Thunder Dogs are loud, feared and a bit ferocious coming from 9 and 10 year old girls. They act like pros out on the field and just started their season. I think that their first opponents had no idea what was in store as they were faced with the mad dog glares, hey batter chatter and cheers and shouts from the dugout. The girls rocked their first game of the season with a 10-5 win.

Here's a few of Madi in action! Kailyn plays her first game next week.. her U12 team has a lot of hype to live up to.

Posh Personal: My Kisses Make You Better...

I woke up yesterday feeling a bit under the weather. I thought it was just the combination of the crazy Virginia weather and allergies. But by late afternoon I was in full blown misery. Pounding head, achy body, and too many wishes to count that my stuffy nose would either suffocate me and put me out of my misery or subside so I can once again rejoin the human race. Vicks vapor rub and I became BFF's last night and even though today is worse [how can that be??], my little man just wrapped me up in his arms and planted some kisses on my forehead and cheek and said,

"My kisses make you better mommy."

I can be more forgiving of the day daddy let you play in the mud [mommy does not do mud]. And the only shot I had from our Virginia Beach vacation with everyone looking in my direction.

Yes my 5 little monkeys, your kisses do make mommy better.... now if I can get everyone to bed by 8:00p that would help too. :-)~

Posh Kids: Happy Belated Birthday Cade.. I got you a tractor!!

Caden turned 2 a few months ago and between crazy schedules, uncooperative weather and bad timing.. his session has not happened. Until today. WOW was it worth the wait in his eyes. He has the largest and by far, the coolest collection of tractors, trucks, trailors and airplanes that I have ever seen.

When I called his mom Stephanie [who is by far, the hottest chick I know..see below for evidence!], and said.. "I have the best place.. EVER. for Cade's pictures!" She was all, "Cool, we're in." His eyes were as big as saucers with excitement and we had the best time climbing up and down and all over the John Deere Tractor.

His birthday session was soooo worth the wait and by far, one of the coolest places to shoot at. We had a great time by the water too. Thanks Steph for being so awesome and not killing me for ruining his new clothes with giant sucker prizes! oxox, *Nic
