Posh Kids: Ethan Turns 5!!

This weekend was full of fun and laughter and tons of smiles. When I met this cutie, we talked all about his new found big boy status of 5 years old, school in the fall and his love for all thing stick and rock related. We tracked the sunbathing turtles in the pond and had a blast playing the morning away.
Beyond his gorgeous eyes was the most tender heart. He adores his mom and it is easy to see where his beautiful spirit and playful nature come from. She was so kind and sweet and it felt like I spent a couple of hours with an old friend.
Happy 5th Birthday Big Boy Ethan! I can't wait to see you guys again!

Posh Newborns: Meet Baby Aubrey

I love little babies. I have decided that I love them more when I can dress them up, share some snuggles and give them back. Today I wanted to keep snuggling! Meet Baby Aubrey, she is a 2 week old little angel. Her beautiful little face was enough to make my heart melt.

I always forget how tiny and fragile newborns seem. She was a doll and I was afraid to break her [seriously, you would think I know the drill after 5]. I spend the afternoon looking at her sweet face and capturing her perfect little features.

Thank you for inviting me over for Baby Aubrey's first photo shoot. I am sure there are so many more in this gorgeous little girl's future.

Posh Events: First Holy Communion

On May 9th, 26 children made the choice to forward their walk with God. I was blessed to document their First Holy Communion. My daughter Madison was among the group, and the sheer joy in their eyes had me in tears more than once. I think I was shaking so much at one point that I had to hold my breath to steady my camera.

I always feel the enormity of a big event and I am so lucky that I was trusted to capture this day forever for these families. My sincerest gratitude goes out to them and their chidren for the fun, the love and the monumental occasion that I was included in. Here are just a few from the event.. but I would fill my blog with all 200+ if it wouldn't take all night.

Posh Kids: Alexis and Emma.. Play With Me Session

This weekend I had the chance to hang out with the cutest 17 month old little girls! I had chatted back and forth with their mom for months about getting together. We finally made it happen and Wooozza! These little girls are dolls! They truly knocked my socks off with their adorable little selves and how inquisitive they were.

We met at a local park and had a "Play with me Session" We let the girls lead, and in my short time away from true twin toddler hood.. the girls led us in 2 different directions [at the same time]. So with their cute outfits, sassy attitudes and true diva girlie-ness.. their painted toes toddled all over and I loved every second! Here are a few of my favorites from the day...

Posh Couture: Benjamin and Sandra are Engaged!

There is not a lot that gets me excited to be up bright and early on a Saturday morning, but today was the exception! I woke up before the alarm started blaring. I believe I may have even had a smile on my face before 7am... and I was looking forward to meeting Sandra and Benjamin.

They met in High School in Pennsylvania and haven't been apart since. When we first chatted about their engagement session, Sandra said she loved the World War II Memorial and asked if it was alright if we started there... Ummm, yes!! It is fabulous, but nothing could have prepared me for how warm and kind and amazing they were. And.. Fabulous!!! My heart melted as I watched them interact. Their love was so strong and completely consuming for the other. I adore them both and know that they have a fantastic year ahead! Congrats Sandra and Benjamin!!
