Posh Contests: Hott Mom Brandee.. Mother's Day Contest Winner!

With being a military family, people come and go constantly. Some people stay in your life for a short while, while others make a forever impression. I am constantly fortunate to meet people from all over and blessed to call a few "friends".

When Brandee was nominated by Sue Davoli for the Posh Mother's Day Contest, I cried. I won't lie- it took me a full 24 hours to even email Sue a thank you for her nomination! Brandee is a woman of extraordinary character. She loves God and her family and puts them above all else. She is gorgeous and smart [she just finished her Master's in Early Childhood Education-Curriculum and Development] And she has faced heartbreaking circumstances with tears and a smile, and more faith and courage than anyone I have ever met.

I sit here again with tears in my eyes as I honor her and her family. She carries them close to her heart and I was blessed to share an evening with them-it involved getting lost [numerous times], terrential downpour and God's grace for just enough time to shoot their session.

Thank you Brandee for coming into my life, I adore you. You have definitely been someone to make a forever impression no matter what the future holds.

Posh Newborns: Meet Baby Kennedy..1 week old

We are back from vacation and I have so much to catch up on.. including some sleep! I'll be sharing a little bit about our trip here and there... Disneyland, Sea World, visiting most of our family, and our three youngest babies celebrated their baptism and while we were in SoCal visiting our families, our niece Kennedy Grace made her debut.

I snuck off with her to her room for a few minutes last week to celebrate her 1 week old birthday and did her first photo shoot. I pilfered through her adorable [mini] shoe collection .. take a look at her first set of Roxy's! Her daddy is a HUGE Angels fan.. so we took a few in her jersey to show off her mad love for the Angles of Anaheim.

She also makes the cutest faces, so I had to share a few!

Posh Babies: Kennedy Grace has arrived.. sneak peek

I have never been in the waiting room, just waiting and waiting for a little one to arrive. This past Wednesday I found myself in the room doing exactly that.. waiting and waiting for Baby Kennedy Grace to make her debut. After what seemed like an eternity [I am sure it WAS an eternity for my sister], Kennedy Grace Jones arrived at 7:51pm weighing in at 8lbs3oz and 19 inches long.

We are so fortunate to be on vacation in Southern California and able to see her right after her arrival. My sister was glowing and her husband, Dennis a very proud daddy! They are amazing 1st time parents [after spoiling their nieces and nephews for so long] and I am an excited 1st time Auntie.

Here is a sneak peek of little Kennedy just 2 hours after she was born. She is so beautiful and I cannot wait to do her first "official" photo shoot next week! Welcome to the World Kennedy!! You are so loved already!!

Posh Personal: Vacation

I forgot to post before we actually left... but we are on vacation!!! 3 weeks to beautiful sunny California!! Yesterday was our trip to Disneyland.. and so much fun, we are also hoping for a few more fun places before we head home and some quality beach time in the middle of visiting all of the family.

Posh Couture: Tanner Family Rocks the Maternity Session

Caitlin and I have been trading emails for months. She was the winner of the Posh: Kiss Me I'm Irish Contest. Our schedules didn't match up until this past weekend. All I can say is... WOW!!!!! Caitlin brought along her husband, her little guy, her gorgeous baby bump [she's 27 weeks preggo and ultra fab] and her other two loves.. her horses.
I spend the next three days pouring over the images we captured, and I won't lie.. this is my biggest blogpost yet. I could not pick a few favorites, so I ended up with a ton! The family is gorgeous and brought their [A] game to the shoot. I cannot wait to spend more time with them at our next session! Check out their gorgeous shots!
