I am an explorer. I love new places, I love just getting in the car and driving and I love vacation. When we were first stationed in Virginia nearly four years ago, Erik took a work trip to Jax Beach, Florida. He flew out bright and early and was calling by 10a asking me to overnight his work boots. After determining that the overnight cost would be the same as the price of a one way trip in the Suburban, I packed the kids up in the car [they were 8,7, 18 months, 18months and 3 months old] with swimsuits, sunscreen and flip flops and off we went on a 12 hour adventure to deliver daddy's boots. That's how I roll.
Always up for something new and a little stir crazy from the winter weather keeping most of my sessions inside, I was craving something different. I started researching indoor locations near Quantico Marine Corps Base and my search led me to the Potomac Point Winery in Stafford, VA. When I emailed Evie's mom, Missy something like "I know she is only 9 months old, BUT how about the winery...it's bea-u-tiful!"
As awesome as Missy is, she's said yes, let's do it! So off we went to explore and oh.my.gosh!! Evie has the biggest, most beautiful dimples in the world and I am ecstatic that we tried somewhere new. The gracious owner's of Potomac Point Winery gave us free reign of their beautiful location and I am forever grateful.
