I landed in Virginia on Monday at nearly midnight to a brisk autumn evening. I checked my phone and the weather app assured me that Tuesday would bring sunshine and highs in the low 70's. Awww... flip flop weather for sure. Fast forward to today... overcast and a chilly high of 50 degrees. I am rocking a hat, scarf, my favorite coach fur lined moccasins, a sweater, jeans and wool coat. A bit bundled up? YES! My California bones are not used to this wintry weather.
Tomorrow I may be a bit more bundled up for Brandy and Greg's Shenandoah Valley Destination Wedding. The forecast... SNOW!!! In October?! Oh yes, snow snow snow. I am so excited!! Despite the frigid temps {ok, so it's not the Antarctic} I am so happy to be amongst the gorgeous colors of fall to celebrate with Brandy, Greg, their friends and families in the snow.
