Alice's Mad Hattery... A Bridal Affair || Beverly Hills Wedding Photographer

This project has been in the works for months. Rebekah of A Blissful Nest and I were out to dinner one night talking hopes and dreams and our plans fo rthe next year and I shared that I wanted to do something super fun and outrageous for my next portfolio shoot. {Alice's Mad Hattey} was born over a few margaritas and a fun time with one of my most favorite friends.

Rebekah took my vision and set it on fast forward! She styled the entire location, table and all of extras and with the help of some of our very favorite vendors, it was more than I dared to dream. While I can't share much {although I am dying to!!!} here is a little sneak peek of our models. They were incredible to work with!

Baby Charlotte... 1 month new || San Marcos Newborn and Baby Photographer

I met Kate at an open casting call for a Kangacoo Designs shoot earlier in the year. I instantly fell in love with her adorable kiddos that are so super sweet {not to mention gorgeous} and I have been lucky enough to spend time getting to know them all over the last couple of months.

Kate is an incredible woman of God, with a heart bigger than most! Her journey into motherhood and adoption touched my heart when I started following her blog and facebook posts and I fell even more in love with their family!

Baby Charlotte is their newest addition and an absolute doll! Her big sister and brother adore her and are incredible little helpers.

Baby Charlotte's family is the perfect example of God's perfect will for us.

 I had been wanting a crafting project for a while and came up with the concept for this newborn/ baby prop box. I love how it turned out!

Ever After... Jim and Terry || Balboa Park Photographer

Sometimes words can't even describe people. It's a feeling, a genuine warmth that radiates from their souls, their kind eyes, heartfelt encouragement and love that flows through their every action.

 I can't recall when we first became friends but it feels like forever, just the mention of their names brings a smile to my face. Jim and Terry met and married over 25 years ago and have called the Marine Corps home for most of that time. The Marine Corps has a crazy way of getting in the middle of "life" and this next season is one that will separate them for an extended amount of time.

They said that they have never had professional pictures done, so we headed out to Balboa Park for an afternoon of glorious weather, lots of laughter and too much fun. I am honored that they chose me to be the one to do their session, but I am beyond blessed to call them friends.

Words can't describe Jim and Terry, but it's a feeling, a genuine warmth that radiates from their souls, their kind eyes, heartfelt encouragement and love that flows through their every action that makes you believe in happily ever after.

Seriously??!! You  are both gorgeous!

Impact on my Heart.. {commercial} || San Diego Kids Modeling Portfolio Photographer

I am a firm believer that people come into your life for a reason and make a huge impact. I have been abundantly blessed with amazing people that have made a huge impact in the way that I live, love and work.

Recently I was asked to shoot for Chicakpee Creations and did a casting for a little girl to model her gorgeous hair pieces. Rory answered the casting and sent pictures of her gorgeous little girl in.

I didn't realize it at the time, but our meeting would be one that would make an impact on my heart. Rory is an amazing woman who's journey to motherhood is one laced with heartbreak, faith and hope {you can read about her world of transracial adoption, natural hair care and everything in between on her blog}. 

Meeting her little blessing and sharing an afternoon with the two of them renewed my own faith in the promises that God has for all of us and that people do come into our lives for a reason.
