I'm the oldest. I have four sisters and one brother and would do anything for any of them. There is something to be said for family. You don't get to choose who God gives you, or how the other grows up. You do have the opportunity to practice love unconditionally from the moment you enter the world until you take your last breaths.
I can't recall that my brother, sisters and I have ever taken a group portrait. Yes, snap shots of a couple of us here or there, but not once a planned session that celebrates the love of family that holds us together and gets us through anything.
When Wendy asked me to do a session centered around her gorgeous kids, I jumped at the chance. I adore their entire family and when we started planning a Ralph Lauren themed sibling shoot.. I was over the moon excited! Not only are these siblings super fun, beautiful and uniquely individual.. but they are loving and sweet and just wanted to make their mom happy.
I hope they look back at these pictures when they are older and say a little praise to God for giving them the gift of family's unconditional love.
